Pat is a trial attorney focusing on matters involving the fiduciary duty of officers and directors, securities law issues and representation of financial services professionals. Pat also has tried eminent domain land valuation and Appellate Tax Board cases.Pat also is Mintz Levin's advisor with respect to matters of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, and he is a long-term member of the Boston Bar Association Committee on Professional Ethics, including several years as Chair. As Chair of the Joint Bar Committee on Judicial Nominations, Pat assists with the review evaluation of the candidates under consideration for judicial appointment in Massachusetts. Pat also is a member of the Standing Advisory Committee to the Supreme Judicial Court on the Massachusetts Rules of Professional Conduct.Following graduation from Northeastern University Law School, Pat clerked for the Honorable June L. Green, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and then joined Mintz Levin in 1979.Pat has been admitted to practice in Massachusetts and to the United States Supreme Court.
