It's official ITA Software is now Google !!!!!Since the Google acquisition my role has evolved focusing more on project management type initiatives. Currently I am managing the data migration project which involves identify all data owners in ITA’s current environment, evaluating the data and the data owners needs, offering guidance as to Google’s offerings for their data and facilitating the actual migration. Also, I am still currently responsible for ITA fieldtechs (currently 4 ) and reporting levels of effort metrics of the fieldtechs progress up to my manager and higher on a weekly basis. I have also been deeply involved at the beginning of the acquisition during project Moonraker (ITA --> Google intergration project) and especially during the onboarding process in which I received a peer bonus for my efforts.· Prior to the acquisition I was the Manager of the TSA group . My main duties were (are) to ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction for all internal customers. This requires monitoring and reporting on TIX to determine best levels of customer satisfaction and be able to train, develop a working team, and develop the skill levels of my team. I had 3 TSA’s(Technical Servies Analyst) reporting to me, 2 brand new contractors hired recently as 2 previous TSA’s have been promoted to System Admins. I also perform the project management duties of my team’s projects and work with the System Admins and their projects with IT. I try to think strategically on all of my projects to ensure all important topics are covered, all risks are identified, and all goals and milestones are attained. Prior to my promotion I was the Lotus Notes Engineer supporting the entire infrastructure and Blackberry Enterprise server for ITA. I re-configured the existing ITA Lotus Domino environment and updated the servers (ver 7.2 – 8.5) while also changing the platforms from Windows-based to Linux based servers. The effort was to enhance the performance of the Domino infrastructure. I was also responsible for the Windows administration and user environment and the Linux administration and user environment when the needs arose. Well versed in either OS.Often I was called upon to support more and newer applications and systems and always rose to the occasion.

One of the senior Domino Systems Administrator on-sight for the Boston Globe and senior member of corporate email team for the New York Times corp. The team was based in Virginia and had members located in BOS,NY and VA. The Boston Globe is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the New York Times corp. My team and I consulted on many issues for the enterprise-wide Domino environment – including Sendmail and IronMail appliances and a major project when the enterprise migrated to Postini. Supporting Windows and Unix administration and user environment. I’ve worked with Domino (Lotus Notes) since ver 3 (around 1994). I am also adept at Lotuscript and formula usage. I’ve also supported various third-party Domino applications, Notrix, NewsEngin, NotesSQL, Fax or Domino, BlackBerry Enterprise server and worked with legacy systems and data to incorporate into newer technologies. The current working environment is 7.2. servers and clients. Currently administrating and upgrading our BlackBerry server to version 4.1.4 along with a new CRM implementation. Administer and support various protocols –IMAP, LDAP, SQL,ODBC, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SMTP. Administer SAMETIME connectivity amongst various business groups (domains) including web-conferencing. Developed multi-layered/tiered approach to SPAM and Virus protection using various means (hardware and software). Administration of the Domino environment includes architecting hardware and configuring the OS (NT and UNIX)The Boston Globe also employees various methodologies for its computing environment. The Globe uses a SDLC (software development life cycle) methodology for developing and deploying new applications and upgrade. The Globe also uses PMRoadmap for Project management purposes. In-house training was deployed for both methodologies. I excelled within my team while managing several enterprise level projects that involved multiple NYTimes sites and disparaging systems and technologies.
