As directed by THL Training Lead, perform duties as instructor/developer for TPO defined training requirements and Delta (HW and SW) training events for any or all components of the THAAD system. Maintains proficiency in the operation and integration of the THAAD system components. Coordinates with Battery training teams to schedule training periods, to support the tasks being trained, and to maintain adequate instructor/student ratios. Assists development and review of materials and lesson plans for THAAD NET and Delta events (HW and SW) for instructors and students. Supports the development of Training Support Packages to be incorporated into the THAAD Training Library. Provides feedback from fielded batteries on products/materials in the THAAD Training Library to include recommendations for change and improvements. Serves as an interface to ensure unit level TTP's are considered for incorporation to TSPs for exchange among fielded THAAD batteries. Maintains proficiency in THAAD training devices (iTADSS, TT3, RST, and LST). Assists THL with developing task descriptions and procedures as they emerge from CLS task transition or associated with HW and SW Deltas for the system. Support THL on task verifications leading to incorporation in the THAAD IETM. Serves as an advisor on training programs for fielded THAAD batteries, when tasked by THL Training Lead to include training personnel via formal classroom courses and other computer based training. Travels to support training/training development events in support of TPO-led NET events to CONUS and OCONUS locations as directed by MDA/THL Training Lead Performs other duties as assigned.

Assigned as the lead instructor for THAAD Fire Control and Communications (TFCC) instruction to include tactics, techniques, and procedures, Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) operations, Joint Doctrine, Combatant Commands, Defense Planner Behavior, Engagement Behavior, and Firing Doctrine. Tasked as the Gunnery Lead Instructor to accurately develop varying realistic Reticle Air Level evaluations to Soldiers from Pacific and Central Command Areas of Operation which include implementing multiple numbers of Short and Medium Range Ballistic Missile from specific Named Areas of Interest and evaluating THAAD crew proficiency by injecting various degrees of radar, interceptor, and launcher faults.

Trains Soldiers on Tactics (How to Fight THAAD), Radar Theory, Force Operations, Engagement Operations, Commands, Firing Doctrine, Gunnery, Reticle Aim Level (RAL) Training, Tech Orientation Courses, and DELTA Training. Builds training schedules, submits weekly and monthly training reports, and CDRL documents as required. SME regarding TRADOC 350-70, and with the Training and Development within TRADOC and Systems Approach to Training (SAT)/Military Decision Making Process. SME regarding the entire Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) and maintains certifications and background to teach the entire BMDS.
