Expanded the platform to enable high-quality API integrations for menu data and point-of-sale systems. Enabled all merchants to bring their in-store technology to seamlessly connect with DoorDash through an ecosystem of integrations with streamlined onboarding and activation.

Created an Open Source Software (OSS) security and compliance solution as part of Microsoft’s engineering system and Azure DevOps. Gathered requirements, talked to customers, met with stakeholders, and established an elegant solution to secure the use of Open Source at Microsoft. Developed a service which discovers use of open source components and checks for security vulnerabilities, license risk, and operability concerns. Drove project strategy, architecture, and execution. Designed and architected highly scalable cloud services built on Azure using technologies like SQL Azure, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Kubernetes, ASP.NET Web API, Node, TypeScript, React, Redux.Built a team of talented, cognitively diverse engineers which work effectively together. Grew the team from two engineers to sixteen, including two managers. Drove end to end architecture of Azure DevOps Package Management service. Created design which prioritized data integrity into the highly scalable design. Eventually consistent architecture allowed for incredibly fast reads of metadata and guaranteed ordering of requests using Azure Table Store, Azure Blob Storage, and SQL Azure.Lead a small team to develop a brand-new web experience for Azure Artifacts. Developed complex single page application using Typescript and React to be quick, maintainable, testable, and user friendly. Designed and implemented a micro-service from SQL, to business logic, to REST APIs for fast retrieval of package metadata and querying to support a responsive web experience.Was responsible for web performance of the Azure Artifacts. Optimized page performance by introducing telemetry, analyzing performance data, bundling content, reducing round trips, shrinking content size, optimizing query performance and business logic, onboarding to Azure CDN, async-loading content, etc.Individually transitioned a large project from fifteen-person team while performing other job duties. Refactored code to be more maintainable. Reduced $200k/year in unused cloud infrastructure. Set up the project to be consistently deployable. Added alerting and monitoring infrastructure to maintain the project long-term.
