Acted as Public Outreach Liaison for BGE's Westport to Wilkens Electricity Reliability Project, helping to execute public outreach in Southwest Baltimore for residents and business owners affected by project construction. Completed data transformation, georeferencing, and digitization of stormwater infrastructure in a project for the city of Gaithersburg, MD. Participated in GPS field data collection for Charles County, MD to collect precise GPS locations of sewer cleanout pipes for use in GIS database. Completed numerous other assignments for Charles County, MD as part of project to create GIS database of county utilities (water, sewage, stormwater management), such as vectorization of county Environmental Site Designs, and vectorization of county stormwater easements. Performed QA/QC on project work.

Edited and digitized geographic data on roads, curbs, and flooding areas of Baltimore County. Developed and implemented geodatabases for county retaining walls and flooding areas. Assisted in preserving and digitizing documents of past Public Works projects. Worked to establish integrity for county industrial permit data.

Worked as a direct assistant to the head of Towson’s Geography and Environmental Planning Department, Virginia Thompson. Completed work in GPS collection and analysis for a mobility study in conjunction with Towson's Occupational Therapy Program. Completed small research tasks in geography and helped in general clerical/administrative work.

Bel Air, Maryland

Worked with three other GIS interns to collect spatial data for Maryland American Water Company, the water company serving most of Bel Air, MD. Used GPS equipment and tablets to collect spatial data on all homes, street water valves, and water hydrants in Maryland American Water’s service area. Learned and practiced processes of GIS field work and GPS data acquisition.
