During my military service I would constantly be pushing myself beyond my physical and mental limits. As a Navy Corpsman (Combat Medic) I was constantly learning and improving my medical skills. As a TCCC Instructor, BLS Instructor, and CLS instructor I would be in charge of training Marines, Sailors, and Civilians in emergency medicine and how to be prepared to handle serious medical situations. I have experience in handling life threatening situations and sustaining life saving treatments in hostile environments, working under extreme stress, and facing dangers head on.During my time working for tree service companies and property management companies I gained lots of experience with power tools, driving large vehicles, and operating heavy equipment. I learned how to safely fell trees, grind stumps, cut/ chip limbs, and maintain vehicles/ equipment while ensuring personal and coworker safety. I also learned and gained experience in sprinkler repair, demolition work, and lawn/ yard care. As a Wildland Fire Fighter I gained experience in responding to emergency fire, medical, and trauma calls. I was hands-on for multiple small and larges fires digging line and cutting brush. I was on a Brush Engine and a Wildland hand crew. I Also provided medical coverage for high risk/ high population events, as well as preformed community outreach and community service. As a Wildland/ Incident Medic I gained experience in driving ambulances and medical vehicles, loading patients into helicopters, and navigating the difficulties of handling medical patients on the fire line. Training and practicing for future calls was a big focus and was always staying proactive. Lots of experience in restocking and maintain medical gear and emergency medical vehicles. I am looking to work in the Police, Fire, and Security Fields. I have Medical, Firearm, and Small Unit Tactics Training. I can provide proof of training and certificates upon request.
