National Account Manager - Napa
CurrentPartner daily and directly with GPC/NAPA senior leadership on pricing, promotions, new product category programs, inventory optimization, return-on-investment (ROI) and marketing to grow the private-labeled "NAPA Solutions" brandSpecifics:- Achieved solid growth on customer account each of the past 5 fiscal years, in line with overall Dorman corporate performance- Responsible for introduction of multiple new product lines, ranging from application-specific hard parts to smaller, front room plan-o-grams (POG)- Develop and implement revenue and business plan with National Account Director and senior Vice-President of Sales/Marketing- Responsible for utilizing multiple data sources for analysis to achieve sales targets and drive growth through business insights into product placement, promotion, and pricing - Negotiate product placement, lift, contract pricing, credit and promotional allowances - Identify competitive opportunities, and develop strategic, cross-functional plans within Dorman organization and customer to secure new business- Defend current business via collaboration with Product Management and Category Management teams to complete line reviews, strategic adds, and sales programs on multiple product categories- Utilize functional business plan to determine gaps within current sales volume for the purpose of achieving financial operating/target plan- Develop, design, and present sales and market business insights in clear and concise formats to senior and executive level management teams, both internally and at customer- Exploration and evaluation of current product line sales/offering to maximize category growth- Collaborate with all Product, Supply Chain, Marketing and Operations teams on critical new program roll outs, including forecast, pricing, margin targets (ROI, GMROI), etc.- Managed internal field sales & customer’s local sales teams, varying from two to four customer Divisions (regions) over the past three years.
