6th Avenue operational upgrade. This involved the precise establishment of setting out points to guide construction activities, with the use of a TS-16 robotic total station. Specifically, the construction of a catchment chamber, strategically built with a sacrificial cofferdam to facilitate efficient/ time effective engineering. Furthermore, installation of precast trough containing a pipeline, used to manage overflow/spillage during the loading of chemicals on site. This comprehensive approach ensures the alignment of structures and systems to meet engineering standards and project spec.Moreover, I start by overseeing the site preparation, handling tasks such as excavation and levelling when constructing a building foundation. I ensure the proper installation of the foundation, which includes working with concrete footings. Coordination becomes crucial, especially for tasks like aligning bricks, managing drainage, and determining the location of internal walls. Constantly monitoring compliance with building codes and specifications is a key part of my role throughout the construction process. I manage quality control, address unforeseen issues. Regularly inspecting site progression, and effectively communicating with peers.I experienced exposure to site weekly costings processes and gathered greater knowledge and understanding towards collaborating checksheets for ITP submission/ approvals.

Veynova Runcorn

Working for Luddon construction on project summer. A new Ethylene Dichloride manufacturing facility on the Vynova manufacturing complex in Runcorn. This involved me setting out New RC structures from an existing network (unsupervised). As well as setting levels using a self levelling laser, ordering the correct measure and type of concrete. I took a big responsibility in QA, whereby I had to produce pre and post pour checks on rebar and formwork. There was temporary works, piling, piling mat, drainage, and much more on this job. I had a greater responsibility for this project and had very little supervision and enhanced my skills of using a TS-16 to design co ordinates. Submission of AS-Built surveys using Nano-CAD

Stanlow Oil Refinery

CD4 Project, was located at Stanlow oil refinery, owned by Essar Oil. The project itself was to install a new furnace in the Crude Distillation Unit able to run on 100% hydrogen fuel source. Luddon construction had the role of carrying out the civil works for this particular project. including; earthworks, trail holes and piling mat, access road construction, CFA piling, Gas membrane installation, pile caps, reinforced concrete foundations, paving and drainage. I personally, was involved in the project from May 2022 to the end of November 2022. I had the responsibility of setting out foundations, plinths and pedestals, alongside paving slabs and anchor bolts. Using a leica TS-16.My responsibilities also involved Concrete. I had to calculate areas and M^3 of concrete required for certain pours, alongside ordering the correct concrete for the purpose of the structure.requirements for cube testings where needed, so i has to take sample cubes of 100x100x100, each pour. I had great responsibility, in creating pre pour and post pour check-sheets, excavation checksheets, setting out check sheets, earthing check sheets and drainage checksheets. I was also responsible for carrying out inspections on site for all checksheets alongside the primary client- flours. working alongside the primary client, resolving TQ's (techniqual queryies) and RFI's (requests for information). Throughout and towards the end of the project I completed most AS-BUILT surveys required to handover the Project. This was my first ever experience in Civil Engineering with a brilliant team and brilliant Company, full of good mentors with exceptional knowledge of the industry. It really put theory into practice during my degree course.
