• Leading the Customer Alignment and Relationship Enhancement (CARE) Program. This program focuses on the intake and response to service requests received by the City. o Developed governance for new corporate committee monitoring service requests performance for the organization. o Formed committee to monitor service requests performance for the organization. This committee is made up of the directors of the 12 business units receiving the greatest number of request, the intake director, the IT director and two of the general managers overseeing these groups. - This role beghe project costing an at the same time as the introduction of module at the City of Calgary for all capital projects. The project costing module added new fields to the account coding string that all fund 40 (Cap Ex) transactions were required to include. This required new processes to be developed for the reporting process from outset to completion. - My team took over responsibility for all transactions incurred under Fund 40 including all spending reconciliations as well as all transfers between units and outside of the City. This includes related partners as well the development industry.- I am responsible for all transfers between fund 40 (Cap Ex) and Fund 42 (TCA). In 2018, this amount was in excess of $400 million. I am tasked with reviewing the transactions as well as the coding string to ensure their accuracy.- I have led the transition for the Utilities from CBS to Hyperion. This new budgeting system made significant changes to the account coding strings used by the groups I support. I recognized the issues these changes have on the Utilities specifically as it related to the work order management system. I led the changes to the business rules currently in use that allowed the transition to happen with minimal impact to the day to day workings of the business unit.
