Every time I relate to this statement, I believe that the position we hold in a company is unimportant, but how we fill that position is critical because it determines our career advancement.I'm an aspiring health and safety officer with entry-level professional expertise in occupational health and safety.I started out as a construction helper on a megaproject involving the construction of a coal power plant with my previous company. During my service, I worked as a laborer, an office assistant, a surveyor, and a waste management assistant for an environmental safety officer. That opportunity allowed me to interact and work with safety professionals at various levels, which sparked my interest in occupational health and safety. Because I could see the effect it has on people, equipment, processes, and the environment.During that time, I gained invaluable skills such as communication, observation, teamwork, organizational, and analytical abilities, among many others. I also gained a better understanding of emergency procedures, fire safety, traffic safety, waste management, chemical storage and handling, behavioral safety, and, most importantly, construction safety.One thing about me is that I learn quickly in any industry.
