Patrick Tedesco is an Architect and Urban Designer with close to 30 years of experience working on high profile and complex projects for Institutions and Cities. Patrick is skilled at design across a range of scales and his work is shaped by exploring the role that Architecture plays in contributing to its broader context. He brings a thoughtful and strategic perspective to the design interface between buildings and their campus/urban settings with a focus on the intersection between the city and campus. Patrick’s ability to bridge the gap between Architecture and the public realm – including campuses, transportation and public space – influences all of his professional work. As a Principal at NBBJ, and the leader of NBBJ’s Higher Education practice, Patrick has led many of the firm’s high profile Urban Design, Campus Planning and Architectural projects including the Boston City Hall Plaza master plan and improvements, Harvard Law School Legal Clinic Building, Suffolk University’s Somerset Street Academic Building, the Northeastern University Campus Master Plan and the Park at Central Wharf in Boston. Patrick served as a BSA Board member and co-chaired the Urban Design Committee. He also serves on the Cambridge Board of Zoning Appeals and is the BSA representative on the State’s Department of Housing and Community Development Designer Selection Board.
