Hello, I'm Patrick, a newly minted MBA graduate embarking on the first step of my new career in business administration as an analyst for Forsyth Advisors. As a student, I attained GPAs of 3.89 and 4.0 for my BS and MBA, respectively. I was on the Dean's List all semesters while completing my BS and was awarded magna cum laude, and the 4.0 GPA for my MBA speaks for itself. The idea being I'm highly knowledgeable of all facets of business enterprise such as accounting, economics, financial analysis, entrepreneurship, human resources, process management, marketing, and, especially, leadership. I also have a mix of certifications in law that serve to amplify my business skills. My education has prepared me to be successful in any context. As an adjunct to this, I have the personal characteristics of being highly motivated, quick to learn, focused, objective, collaborative, and versatile. As of yet, I have not found anything I cannot do when I put my fullest efforts into it. I'm also a fond believer in community service. I have participated with community service groups, such as Pay It Forward, to assist the Missouri Food Bank and even teaching myself how to crochet to make winter apparel and stuffed animals for women, children, and disabled veterans in crisis centers, group homes, and police/fire stations. Given the area of study, my work experience is atypical but still has imparted a great boon to my skills and abilities that can be applied to further career exploits. I have several mottos that I live by one being "adversity is the progenitor of character", and "hard work trumps talent when talent fails to work hard". The implications of them are that being challenged and challenging ourselves is how we grow as people into our self-actualized selves, and that, no matter how much talent a person might possess, in the absence of hard work, talent is of little value. I am currently utilizing my abilities at Forsyth Advisors as an analyst in training for project manager position.
