Hi, my name is Patrick Tran and I am a recent graduate from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity. I am passionate about cybersecurity and eager to one day reach my goal of working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), where I can leverage my skills and knowledge.I’ve gained a solid foundation in various aspects of cybersecurity. My hands-on experience with tools such as Procmon, Process Explorer, and Metasploit has equipped me with the technical skills necessary to excel in cybersecurity. I have years of experience in customer service and have completed several projects, including developing a secure file transfer system and an organized management system to manage PhD students and faculty.Currently, I am seeking opportunities in IT to gain hands-on experience and further develop my skills. I am particularly interested in roles that will allow me to contribute to a SOC and work on real-world cybersecurity challenges.
