I take an idea from a model, print or napkin and turn it into an actual part you can hold in your hands. I work with CAD/CAM software, cnc machines, engineers and others to create efficient manufacturing processes for prototype or production runs. I specialize in troubleshooting manufacturing processes on live tool Y-axis lathes, vertical lathes and Mill turns. I also have experience in ID grinding , surface grinding, broaching , stamping, 3 axis milling, part marking, inspection and more. I like working with engineers to better understand what's needed in their parts and assemblies so I can deliver parts as fast as possible while making sure that I deliver parts that meet all the criteria. I have worked on DMG Mori machines, Doosan, Okuma, Giddings and Lewis, Springfield, Bryant's, Heald. I can inspect parts manually, with height gages, micrometers, calipers and dial bore gages, profilometers, optical comparators and more. I enjoy making things, with or without help, rain or shine.
