CurrentRESPONSIBILITIES:Team Leadership: Strengthen and lead all aspects of SpaceX’s security efforts around National Security programs. Guide and enable this team to develop a deep partnership with the broader SpaceX enterprise, and towards full understanding of SpaceX’s mission needs and national security objectives.Security Expertise: Serve as the expert and main point of contact for national security requirements at SpaceX, as well as cultivate a sense of ownership and accountability for the security of classified efforts. Requirements Ownership: Understand program requirements and goals, build comprehensive plans for supporting the execution of programs in a secure fashion, in compliance with applicable regulations, and execute these plans alongside program milestones. Demonstrate full cradle-to-grave ownership of program security for multiple classified efforts.Management: Directly manage security program team members – consisting of Program Security, Information System, Facility Security, and Personnel Security personnel.Outward Facing Interface: Partner with various government agencies to ensure the organization is in compliance with directives, regulations, and recurring accreditations – including interpretations and deviations from these directives and regulations, as appropriate. This effort covers multiple disciplines to include Physical Security, Personnel Security, Operational Security and Information Security.Strategic Planning: Lead the organization for technical, personnel, facility/campus, and security regulatory compliance, in addition to the operational activities supporting those programs. Be the ultimate owner defining and ensuring the team’s execution to these commitments.New Proposal Support: Lead security involvement for new program proposals and broader company policy updates regarding security and counter-intelligence practices for the company.
