I am currently serving as Estimating Supervisor managing daily departmental activities, overseeing a team of Estimators, managing incoming bid requests, supporting a network of independent sales representatives, monitoring and maintaining pricing structures and methods and working toward continuous improvement through the development of new pricing tools and techniques. I remain fluent in Autocad and Inventor 3D modeling to aid in this function as well as lend assistance in engineering and design as required. In addition, I am serving as Pre-bid Design Manager and am the initial point of contact for architects and builders’ seeking preliminary design assistance as it pertains to the integration of mechanical and architectural louver and sun control products. I provide product specification guidance and design engineering/integration solutions to design and manufacturing professionals, utilizing CAD and 3D modelling. I partner with an independent representative network and provide on-site presentation support to our outside sales professionals. I've gained a specific skill set and experience in the integration of curtain wall systems and louver/sun control solutions with an emphasis on manufacturability, ease of installation and new product innovation.Prior to my role as Estimating Supervisor, I served for 5 years as an internal and external Project Manager. Responsibilities included managing engineering departments output and direction, creating and maintaining internal and external production and milestone schedules, coordination of submission/approval activities, monitoring of manufacturing costs and enhancing overall profitability. I supported a group of independent sales representatives, while coordinating with installing contractors and architects directly.

I assisted in building a small curtainwall manufacturer into a large player in the business by taking on various roles were needed as we grew. I served as Estimating Manager, Shop Manager, Engineering Manager, Purchasing Agent, assisted in Sales, and developed all of the automated BOM and Cutsheet systems used in manufacturing.

I served in many capacities at a world class manufacturer of aluminum cabinets and pit carts for the Professional Auto Racing industry. Beginning as a designer/cad operator, I was instrumental in helping this small upstart manufacturer grow into a large, well respected organization. I was involved in many innovative product designs and manufacturing operations. Accomplishments include new products design including molded plastic parts, aluminum extrusions, and patented latching mechanisms. The use of solid modelling as a production design tool transformed the business. I was also instrumental in the design and development of an in house product configurator system that allowed paperless production information flow through the plant from order entry to machine programming. Using off the shelf software, this "BOM Fusion" bill of materials generator also created the CNC programming on the fly in support of manufacturing operations. I also developed a simple, yet innovative CNC Turret Punch programming system that leveraged parametric part configurations to completely eliminate the drawing/tooling process. Operators created the g-code for the punched sheet metal parts right at the machine "on the fly", thus saving many hours of engineering labor and resources. The system reduced part design and code creation from a half hour to one second, and eliminated the need to store any data, thus reducing data management resources dramatically.Other roles with C Tech included purchasing/vender management and sourcing, marketing functions including the full rendering of product catalog imagery, customer service and support (many trips the race track!), OEM account sales, service, and management

I joined Wausau Window as a Project Manager, specializing in custom fabricated metal window wall systems, panel wall systems, entrance systems, and specialty architectural products. The J Paul Getty Center was a highlight of my time at WWW, managing a specialized team of engineers for 5 years to produce aluminum panel cladding systems.

I began my career as a manual drafter, and Project Manager for a small glass and glazing contractor. Here, I gained experience with design, takeoff, estimating and bidding, purchasing, field management, and Project Manager. I gained a great deal of experience and insight from the perspective of an installing contractor and job site management.
