In my capacity as Chief Legal Officer I have responsibility for the management of all legal aspects of DLL operations in Ireland, including:- Group Treasury which provides global funding (including securitization), liquidity and treasury services to the DLL Group; - Reinsurance company;- Structured finance (e.g. wind farms, CleanTech and complex financial projects);- Interpretation of global financial, tax and regulations that impact the businesses in Ireland (EMIR, Dodd-Frank, MiFID, CRR/CRD IV, Solvency II etc);- asset financing, leasing and financial solutions business;- management of all legal claims and litigation;- corporate governance and providing company secretarial services to Irish entities;- advising on strategies to manage legal risks, and - management of external legal advisors.I am Company Secretary of the DLL entities in Ireland, and a member of the Ireland management team. I am also a member of the Corporate Legal team in the Netherlands. In this capacity I am involved in the negotiation of global vendors agreements, Group re-structuring (most recently the sale of the Athlon Group), and Group-wide initiatives to generate efficiencies on a global scale through legal innovation. DLL Group is a wholly owned by Rabobank and operates in more than 35 countries.
