Once collected, we used Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) tagging fish, set PIT traps to track population size and migration, and collected data on captured fish (health, location, weight and length).o Eliminated invasive fish (Common Carp).o Set larval fish light traps.- AIS tasks performed: Looked for AIS species via microinvertebrate sampling via plankton tows (vertical and horizontal), eDNA collection, hatchery and stream inspections.o Boat inspections and decontaminations for plant and animal AIS (mainly Quagga Mussels from Lake Powell).o Interacted with the public to educated them on the AIS program to prevent spread.- Sport fish tasks performed: Worked a fish trap collecting Cutthroat Trout via trap, fyke nets, and electrofishing. Then, spawning and milking fish and collecting the data on the fish such as weight and length.o Monitoring different reservoirs fish populations and health by gill netting different locations and dissecting for overall health inspections and stomach contents to check feeding patterns. o Collected Striped Bass for hatchery broodstock, adjusted osmoregulation for travel, and tested water for AIS (Quagga Mussel veligers).- Amphibian tasks performed: Worked to help locate and reintroduce boreal toads into the southeast region of Utah by finding suitable habitat for the toads and looking for existing remaining populations.
