CBDC Blue Water is one of 41 non-profit, independent Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs) in Atlantic Canada. In partnership with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), they work to support the local economy by assisting entrepreneurs as they build or expand their businesses.The CBDC provides small business counselling, lending and referral services to entrepreneurs in rural HRM and work directly with them in successfully starting and/or growing their business. They offer solutions to their small business financial needs, and connect them with our partners to meet all their business support needs. As a not for profit organization, they help create healthy, vibrant rural community needs-based opportunities and offer resources to support them as we watch our communities grow.
