Currently responsible for the Enterprise Platform Solutions team. This team is responsible for Front-end Solutions, Data Architecture and Enterprise Platform Tools/Utilities/Solutions. Also focusing the design and implementation of DevOp - CI/CD pipeline and framework utilizing Containerization and Kubernetes.

Currently Managing the Cloud Solution Engineering Team, with an emphasis on building out the new Oracle Cloud Hubs that are critical to Oracle's Cloud transformation. Managing the Sales Solution Engineers that focus on Oracle's Cloud PaaS, IaaS, Application Development, DevOps, Mobile Development, SaaS Integration, Relational Database Design, Development and Configuration, Security and Identity Management, Business Intelligence/Analytics and Big Data solutions. Expertise in a wide range of operating systems and virtualization, programming languages, and development frameworks. Focus includes creating and delivering customer facing solutions such as enterprise cloud demonstrations and demonstration platforms, workshops and hackathons, and customer specific POCs. Responsible for seeding solutions into the sales force through customer presentations, comprehensive solution based storyboards, demonstrations and workshops. Support sales force through development of internal assets such as sizing tools and reference architectures.

Lead teams charged with developing innovative solutions for the Oracle North American Sales organization, with the focus on Fusion Middleware, Database, Security and Business Intelligence products. Spearheaded the effort for creating reference architecture tools, demonstrations and workshops that exhibited the enhanced portfolio and product capabilities after Oracle’s acquisition of BEA. Lead the design and development of the Enterprise Architecture Sizing Tool, which became mandated for budgetary sizing for much of Oracle’s product portfolio. Responsible for development of hands-on training content used by both the internal sales teams and external customer, and for a wide range or Oracle products.

Provided technical leadership to executive management, enabling CSG to provide provisioning and rating services to the ISP, ASP and broadband cable industries. Identified key issues and guided technical teams that built an advanced rating engine, provisioning system and advanced product catalog to meet corporate goals. In 2002, embraced the challenge and successfully resolved the complex Kenan/BP billing platform integration challenges. Directed the team chartered to create a consistent API strategy and create an industry standard protocol based API/Interface that was a springboard for future CSG tools and customer developed applications.. Recognized by executives as a leading advisor and architect. Architected, designed and led the development of an advanced Rules Based Rating engine, provision tracking system and product catalog. This forward looking initiative prompted resigning of contracts with key customers and was used by Time Warner Cable in their multiple ISP offerings when integrating with AOL and Earthlink. Other customers include AT&T, Charter and eBay. Developed product strategy and architecture, and lead the analysis, design and development teams responsible for creation of an API framework utilized by the CSG/Kenan CRM tools and the self service web based tool. Interfaces including HTTP/XML, Java, EJB, C++ and SOAP. Responsible for presenting product design and architecture strategies to key customers and systems integrators and won their approval.

Drove rapid organizational growth in early stages of Internet market expansion up to $50M in revenue. Organized and lead the analysis, development and testing organizations. Oversaw the implementation of a large scale network, data center and infrastructure to support network operations. Implemented an application framework strategy providing integration between diverse purchased and developed applications. Developed an e-commerce solution for customers and distributors enabling them to sell products via their website. Rolled out a telephony long distance agent applications with Qwest Communications. Integrated billing systems based on Portal’s intranet billing system. Launched a Project & Product Review Board to prioritize and monitor to successful project completion.

Performed in newly created position as a Technology Evangelist and and developed robust strategies to aggressively promote new technologies including Oracle 8.x, Data Cartridges, Network Computing Architecture, Oracle Objects and Java Integration. Developed presentations and visited top Oracle alliance partners around the nation promoting products. Met with customers on an individual and large-scale group basis. Presented Oracle Object concepts on the live Oracle Channel Broadcast. Created Java training for Oracle Partners. Taught Oracle 8 Advanced Training to key integration partners in Europe. Served as a key contact to alliance partners desiring to create Oracle Data Cartridges and teamed with the Oracle Data Cartridge and Object development groups. As a Principal Sales Consultant, Teamed with key Oracle alliance partners to make technical recommendations on integrating Oracle technology in the their products. Named “Alliance Sales Consultant of the Year” for FY96. Consulted with key Oracle alliance partners such as Novell, Spacelabs Medical, 3M Medical, JD Edwards, CSG Systems. Partnered with the Western region sales rep and achieved tremendous success.

Charged with creating a distributor commissioning and order management systems for integration into international markets. Lead the development of systems deployed in Australia and New Zealand in 5 months and in Japan in 7 months. The systems supported the local requirements of each country and supported each country’s language. All projects were completed on time and delivered outstanding success. The systems were instrumental in allowing Nu Skin to create a presence in Japan while under great pressure due to government requirements and restrictions. The systems enabled Nu Skin to rapidly and successfully open their Japanese markets.

Responsible for the design and development of a gas control Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA) used to monitor and control the flow of natural gas within the transportation and exchange systems in Utah and parts of Wyoming and Colorado. The system further enabled the company to provide better service, support new transport and distribution agreements, and identify and repair any pipeline systems and problems. The SCADA systems integrated with remote telemetry devices to acquire pipeline status and display the pipeline information graphically for the gas controller. The systems was featured in Oracle Magazine.
