Advocated for behavioral healthcare at the local, state and national level and at state and national trade associations in coordination with the organization’s lobbyist• Achieved winning a prestigious Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) Planning Grant valued at $4M annually over four years.• Directed Sound’s COVID-19 response by migrating services to telehealth provision. As a result, telehealth services increased from 2% pre-COVID to 80% in just three weeks. • Led the $25M acquisition and transition of Community Psychiatric Clinic into Sound to more effectively serve clients and the community.• Saved $5M+ annually by renegotiating or exiting all contracts with King County that were losing money due to reimbursement rate. • Built from the ground-up a culture that fosters inclusion, equality, and empowerment. • Raised $10M with a comprehensive development strategy focused on foundations, individuals and families, corporations, and governmental grants. • Expanded and added five service sites throughout the county to improve access for clients facing traffic and transportation challenges.

Responsibilities focused on formulating and executing an annual strategic plan and managing the organization with an $11.5M operating and capital budget and eight revenue streams comprised of Medicaid, Medicare, and others.• Saved KBH and MGC from bankruptcy and closure by leading a turnaround and corporate merger. As a result, critical and lifesaving behavioral healthcare services care continued to be provided to 7,000+ individuals annually.• Reduced corporate debt by $3M+ through downsizing staff and streamlining operations, increasing productivity with a financial incentive program, and meeting monthly and quarterly client service goals.• Raised $1M+ to renovate a residential recovery center for women with severe addictions. This unique program allowed children to live with addicted mothers in the facility during treatment.• Implemented one of Ohio’s first electronic health records (EHR) initiatives and generated $100,000+ in “federal meaningful use” incentive dollars under the Affordable Care Act.
