I graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2023 with a 1st Class Honours in BA International Business. Following my graduation, I have been traveling through Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia, driven by my aspiration to work for an international company and experience living abroad.During my third year at university, I completed a commercial placement with Samworth Brothers, where I held two roles over 12 months. Initially, I worked in New Product Development, where I communicated with customers, analysed product costs and nutritional data, and presented key information to wider teams. Later, as a project manager, I led the standardisation of development and costing systems. This role involved leading a team to streamline processes, ensuring long-term business benefits, and effectively communicating with key stakeholders.My experiences have helped me develop strong leadership skills through cricket captaincy, time management through my academic endeavors, and organisational skills through volunteering events. My peers describe me as hardworking, passionate and always striving to achieve my best.Outside of academics, I am passionate about travelling and playing sports specifically cricket and golf. I had the privilege of captaining Bashley CC 2nd XI for two successful years during 2019 and 2020. Through my university coursework, I discovered a keen interest in business finance, and I am eager to pursue a career in finance, aiming to achieve my CIMA accountancy qualifications post-graduation.
