The odds of success improve dramatically when you keep an open mind, ask the right questions, get at the real issues, and consider a range of options. This is a lesson I learned as the youngest of six kids, where achieving my “goals” as a 5-year-old often relied on observing the actions of my siblings. And it's a lesson that has served me well over the course of my career.For over 20 years, I have helped companies grow by leveraging the powerful tool of advertising. I was lucky to work with a number of great brands (British Airways, Visa, Mars, BP, Accenture) at some of the best agencies in the world (TBWA, M&C Saatchi, Ogilvy, and DDB). In doing so, I was tasked with managing the creative and operational challenges of complex global structures. As a result, I developed strong reflexes for fostering trusting client partnerships, for "fixing" those that had begun to sour, and establishing productive relationships by leading teams to deliver practical, pragmatic solutions that helped move the business forward.A lot has changed since I first entered marketing communications. It's more complex, It moves faster. And, in an increasingly digital world, it offers more opportunities than ever before. Currently, I put my experience to work in the consulting space by helping entrepreneurial business leaders find new ways to grow revenue, add capabilities, expand their footprints and, when appropriate, forge partnerships that will accelerate their ambitions and scale.I enjoy using LinkedIn to explore conversations about growth and scale challenges within marketing communications environments.
