As an occupational therapy practitioner, my highest aim is to provide quality care to clients I serve and to be a valued asset to my employer. To reach these goals, I rely on effective communication with clients and team members, a productive balance between clinical and clerical demands, and a relentless dedication to improving my effectiveness as a skilled practitioner. Drawing on my experience as a Spanish healthcare interpreter, I am skilled at creating mutually beneficial relationships between clients and interdisciplinary providers, encouraging and empowering clients to participate in their healthcare process while advocating for client needs. To continue honing my craft as an occupational therapist, I place a high priority on professional development and maintaining a flexible attitude to demanding dynamics of the healthcare industry.
