Held the critical role of Academics and Internships Liaison for the visiting faculty from partners.- Utilise emotional intelligence and problem solving when working to resolve the often sensitive and complex student situations which are common in the inherently disruptive experience of studying abroad.- Responsible for the review and continual improvement of student orientation sessions, striking a delicate balance of tone and content to empower students in confronting the ambiguity of working in a new culture.- Named Coordinator of Special Events for FIE’s biennial Student Global Leadership Conference with about 200 attendees (2017 and 2019). Led the committee and project managed the delivery of all events outside the main programme and delivered a bespoke presentation aimed at first-time conference attendees.

As a member of the busy Experiential Education team, I was personally responsible for arranging about 150 placements per year and mentoring the students throughout their intercultural workplace experience. This involved a good deal of complex administration for a large caseload, maintaining the CRM and my own records. Another key part of this role was sourcing and vetting new placement opportunities for students while maintaining and developing existing partnerships, I personally brought on board several dozen new placements during my tenure in this role. I was promoted to Assistant Director of the department after less than two years in the role.
