Current• Responsible for the management and administration of company network, and server resources on-site and in AWS.• Managed and administered Cisco Meraki switches, wireless access points, security cameras, and Palo Alto firewalls.• Responsible for administering physical servers (Dell R540’s and Dell R710’s). Tasks performed include: upgrading BIOS, installing vSphere 7, setting up vCenter VCSA 7, migrating VM’s from existing hosts utilizing Veeam, backup and data transfer configuration (local and cloud using AWS Storage Gateway and Veeam), configuring RAID arrays, balancing RAM, configuring network settings, patching, and more.• Experience setting up, managing, and monitoring Datadog dashboards/monitors for on-site and cloud resources.• On-call every three weeks and responsible for acknowledging and remediating client and internal NOC incidents through Datadog and PagerDuty.• Manage and monitor client and internal servers running various operating systems (Windows and Linux) including: Windows Server 2016, Ubuntu 18.04/20.04, and CentOS 7.• Administered and managed company's Palo Alto firewalls (3050 and 3220 series).• Lead project to migrate from Palo Alto 3050 firewall to new Palo Alto 3220.• Lead project to deploy GlobalProtect VPN and replace OpenVPN access server.• Act as escalation path, as needed, for company MacOS fleet and users.• Lead the development and management of various business policy documents during the pursuit of company security certification.• Acted as escalation point and mentor for other team members, assisting them with issues and transferring knowledge where possible.
