The actualized business value was reduction in hardware cost via virtualization, adoption of PeopleSoft Continuous Update Model which is new in version 9.2, reduction in customizations by 33%, automation of treasury operations, and baseline for extending PeopleSoft functionality into additional business processes. The team consisted of Emtec consultants, independent consultants, and client resources with expertise in accounting, business analysis, coding, and technical infrastructure. The business processes included were Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report My responsibilities were to manage the overall project from initiation to closeout. This included helping the client with business case, managing risks and issues, developing the project plan, status reporting, Steering Committee meetings, resource allocation, and following the Emtec methodology. A challenge for this project was to keep the implementation date constant. This was done by tightly managing the scope while continuing to meet the business objectives. The project was delivered on time and on budget. The client is providing a positive reference for Emtec and me.Extended Emtec's work with three additional Statements of Work for QA staff augmentation, integration of an acquisition, and an extension of PeopleSoft. Collaborated with client, Emtec business analysts, and Emtec management to identify work units, level of effort, pricing, and approval for the SOW. Provided client with month end accruals for all financial system projects with Emtec. Worked with the client to resolve issues on past due receivables. -

This includes contributing to the statement of work, working with the client to define scope, pre-assign resources, and kick-off the project. Managed team to define business requirements, apply these requirements to delivered PeopleSoft functionality via the fit-gap, and re-estimate work. Created project plan, presented change requests when necessary, provided status reports, and presented at steering committee meetings. Worked side by side with client project manger. This project was implemented in three waves:Wave 1: implementation of PeopleSoft Core Financials in seven Latin American Countries. The project scope included Spanish language, indirect taxes, consolidation/equitization, US and local accounting principles, and workflow approvals. The business objective to increase transparency and provide a global framework was met. This was delivered on time and to a fixed bid amount.Wave 2: implement of PeopleSoft Order Management with Pricing and Billing in Canada. PeopleSoft accepted transactions from multiple legacy fulfillment systems. Then PeopleSoft priced these transactions based on rules in PeopleSoft, recognized revenue, created invoices, and collected payments from customers. PeopleSoft was made the system of record for customers, products, and pricing. The business objective was to retire the legacy mainframe billing system and increase transparency.Wave 3: Implement PeopleSoft Billing and Accounts Receivable in ten Latin America countries along with core financials for four additional countries. Priced transactions were sent to PeopleSoft to recognize revenue, present invoices, and collect payments. The business objectives were to increase transparency and standardize business processes.Also implemented Oracle Business Intelligence Analytics (OBIA) -
