Hired by Internet Association (IA) – a trade association representing companies from Amazon and Airbnb to Zillow and Ziprecruiter – to professionalize the organization’s brand and cast the Internet industry in a favorable light with federal/state legislators and agencies. Led the creative team, who developed persuasive marketing campaigns, built creative content, launched multi-channel initiatives (web, social media, events), executed large-scale events (e.g. conferences, galas), and designed client materials used for educating/persuading policymakers. Managed the entire creative process, including cross-functional partnerships, consensus building, campaign strategy, creative asset design, and content production.- Professionalized IA’s brand and visual messaging which differentiated it from more traditional trade organizations and in turn created the shared design system that supports IA’s websites, webinars, social, and print materials.- Developed and launched integrated campaigns to support net neutrality, which generated over 45,000 YouTube views, 1.44 million website visitors, and 630,000 social media comments in one day- Worked across departments to design, develop, and project manage IA’s web presence - integrating branding and voice throughout- Launched #InternetOfGood, a value of the industry video campaign which has become the biggest driver of engagement on social media for IA over the past two years its been running- Concepted and implemented comprehensive campaigns such as “PrivacyForAllAmericans” (supporting federal privacy legislation) which positioned IA as a thought leader, earned media coverage, and raised awareness through explainer videos, branded microsite, and social media advertising
