My expertise lies in strategic planning, operational excellence, plan development, execution and implementation, and change management, with a particular focus on the heavy equipment and automotive parts sectors.Whether it has been starting a business from the ground up, taking over an existing business, or expanding a business into new locations and markets, I have always been passionate in developing a road map for success, getting team members to participate and refine the map, and then execute, measure and adjust the map to meet changing or new conditions to optimize business performance.With almost 40 years’ experience in a variety of industries ranging from Advertising and Marketing, Wholesale Distribution, Heavy Equipment Distribution, Retail Operations, Automotive Parts, and International Distribution I have touched virtually all components of a business including accounting, finance, P & L responsibility, cash flow, balance sheets, forecasting, budgeting, sales, marketing, operations and processes, information technology and implementation, inventory optimization, contract negotiations, and new business development. As both an entrepreneurial owner and executive of mid to large organizations, I have been responsible for employee development, strategic planning, operations and processes, performance optimization, business growth, motivation, and leadership.Outside of work I still enjoy competitive sports and have been very active playing in basketball tournaments across the country, competitively swimming, and I work out daily for general physical and mental health.
