Working at Heale Manufacturing I had a diverse set of responsibilities. My main role was to schedule jobs, purchase material, maintain adequate inventory levels, negotiate pricing to maximize profit, expedite, resolve inventory discrepancies, and continually optimize processes. I use my knowledge of the ERP system along with my excel skills to make easy to read reports about the current state of the business and trends. Being the resident expert on our ERP, I assisted on the software upgrade. This came with many challenges because there was no software testing prior to upgrading. The imported data did not mesh well and processes needed to be updated to meet the current systems specifications. Resolving these issues required a lot of tech support calls and trouble shooting. With persistence, the issues were resolved and operations could continue normally.

As a Supply Chain Specialist Expediter, I pro-actively communicate with a domestic and international supply base to expedite parts for depot orders. This is done to insure customer satisfaction. I am responsible for fast moving parts ranked A class through E. These parts are detrimental for unit operation. Stocking out of parts will cause field vehicles to be inoperable risking the bottom line of customers. Shipping parts a week late can compromise a whole season's crop. If parts are forecasted to stockout, I preemptively establish recovery plan. These plans involve re-optimization of order priority or seeking parts outside of our current supplier.

I worked as a Deli Merchandiser at Sam's Club. This position involved organizing incoming shipments to the deli fresh department, and managing perishable goods. This position required me to think on my feet. I worked in both the meat department and the deli. My usual day started with sorting and stocking new shipments of goods. Then my day progressed into helping the meat department. I was responsible for getting sea food onto the shelves while also cooking rotisserie chickens simultaneously. This involved being agile and flexible changing between my multiple responsibilities. My time management skills have helped me in this position because had to make sure shelves and the fish were stocked while making sure the rotiserie chickens were cooked within a 10 minute tolerance window. I was also in charge of any stock outs that might occur on the floor. I would be required to help customers with obtaining their desired product or helping them find a replacement product. This process involved using our ERP system to check inventory and the location of the product or products. Once the day comes to an end, I was in charge of closing down the deli fresh department by myself and the meat department with the assistance of one other employee. After closing down the two departments I sorted donations and throws with our ERP system to insure accurate inventory count. Keeping quality products on the shelf for our customers is very important to me. My job also included deli audits. Deli audits included working as a team to count all deli fresh products on the shelves and in storage. If there were any discrepancies between the ERP system and the on hand count, it was up to the team including myself to investigate the difference and correct the issue.

This position allowed me to grow a s person understand the importance of responsibility. I was in charge of closing down the deli as a step in manager. I worked as an efficient team to make sure all objectives were completed. This included weighing throws, wrapping salads for overnight storage, cleaning dishes, maintaining a sanitary work environment, and preparing the deli for the opening staff the following day. During a regular work day, I used my product knowledge to help customers pick the right product suited to their pallet and kept inventory organized.

During my time at Tanis, I manufactured and packaged custom brushes. I worked with a variety of machines including CNC machines. I also kept detailed records of project progress, inventory, and quality control tests. Working at Tanis has taught me to optimize work and maintain a lean initiative.
