General Duties:- Conduct month end closing reconciliations for all of our clients.- Process and apply any wires, refunds, Cash Value write offs, etc. to our accounting systems.- Assist in resolving any billing errors from payment reconciliations.- Perform month-end loan reconciliations for carriers- Analyze Cash flows, Cash value, Disbursements, receipts , and other documents for discrepancies in month end reporting.- Generate month end financial documents for major carriers based on monthly data.- Use of in-house Journal Entry applications and ERP systems- Research and resolve multiple cash and disbursements discrepancies that arise at month end.- Generate and report financial information to carriers and clients.- Assist in complete termination and refunds of clients.- Use Excel and VBA macros to improve work flow process- Provide corrective journal entries to the GL for any refunds, wrongly placed funds, surrenders, withdrawals, etc.- Balance, move, and post cash for multiple large scale international clients accounts (Lockheed Martin, Verizon, Ernst & Young)- Provide correction entries to the GL- Assist Month close processes that require to close and balance every client account- Process multiple bank reconciliations- Ensure money transfer from our clients are posted in a timely manner via wires they send us any morning- Resolve any payment discrepancies that arise from what are billing team produces and what the client wires.- Daily lockbox balancing to ensure accuracy
