Automation of Monthly Financial reports---------------------------------------------SCL automated the production of the Monthly Financial reports production for an organization in the Petroleum Industry reducing a 5 day process with lots of nights in office to a half day process with no staying late in officeMonthly Profit and Loss Consolidated Report Automation---------------------------------------------------------------Sunesis implemented a Consolidated Profit and Loss Reporting Tool for a Vehicle Sales and Distribution company that has enabled the Finance Team to get the comprehensive monthly P&L report at the click of a button covering 3 key lines of business and over 50 profit centers. The tool loads the data from SAP onto an SQL datawarehouse backend and then generates the P&L reports in Excel format. The tool allows the users to view teh reports at various levels i.e Profit Center Level, Line Business Level and overall Consolidated Level.This process used to be quite laborious and staff dependent taking 2 to 3 days to accomplish. The tool has made the process highly automated and not staff dependent and the monthly reports can now be generated within 30 minutes.Sales Dashboard------------------We developed and maintained a Sales dashboard that gives trends in "Sales", "Ave. Customer spend" and "Ave. Unit sales" for an organization in the Fashion Industry. Data is collected on a daily basis using Excel from various stores in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda and this is then consolidated into data repository at head office and displayed on a dashboard. The dashboard is reviewed weekly by the management team so as to make strategic decisions.
