As a recent graduate from Denison University with a B.A. in Data Analytics and a concentration in Economics, I am passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights. My technical proficiency spans Python, R and SQL, but have reached the point where I am comfortable learning any data tool, complemented by experience with statistical modeling, data mining, and report generation in my studies.Currently, I'm working as a Data Analyst Intern at Classical Charter Schools, where I've been converting and then debugging an R package to Python. This project has enhanced the organization's data audit functions, improving efficiency and accessibility for future employees. I've utilized various Python libraries including polars, Microsoft Office file navigation libraries, and re, alongside DuckDB and SQL for database querying.My academic projects showcase my ability to tackle real-world challenges. I investigated the impact of urbanization on bird migration patterns, utilizing spatial data from Movebank and NASA to identify significant route shifts. Using R, I evaluated and analyzed this data to uncover urbanization-driven changes in migration patterns. I developed and validated statistical models, including linear regression and t-tests, to quantify the effects of urbanization on bird migration. My findings, presented through a detailed academic paper and visual presentations, provided new insights into the environmental effects of urbanization on wildlife and offered actionable recommendations for future research in this field.Beyond my analytical skills, I am an enthusiastic team player who enjoys collaborating on impactful projects. I find joy in racquet sports, particularly pickleball, and maintain an active lifestyle through regular gym sessions.
