In this role I had many responsibilities both inside and outside of the office. Outside of the office I would meet with customers as well as other vendors within our supply chain to discuss and audit their RPC (recycled plastic crates) usages. Inside the office I would work with customers via email to ensure they reported RPC usage accurately and to the correct destinations. I would also manage and organize customer freight returns with our 3PL partner. Along with these responsibilities I was involved with a few special projects involving new products and new customer on boarding.

My brief time at Formica I worked In the “trim and sand” department. This was the final stage of high pressure laminate production, before the product was shipped to the customer. I helped operate a machine that cut and sanded the sheets of laminate to a specific length and thickness, per company guidelines.

I found myself as in a key role with this company as I became vital to ensuring accurate inventory management. By Utilizing WMS I investigated online order issues and solved missing inventory problems when they arose. On an as needed basis I also served as a receiving coordinator where I lead a small team of associates to receive new product into the fulfillment center during peak inbound seasons. This include checking product for quality as well as correct labeling before being input into our systems.
