Collaborates with key business partners to ensure smooth order processing & fraud prevention for the Americas

At HC Blake Co. I was responsible for installation and operation of workstations and communication devices for new and existing employees. I wrote protocols for an IT ticketing system, tech onboarding, account creation, software and app installation, and repairs for damaged iPhones. I designed and installed physical security system with cameras, sensors, and alarms. I created timesheet database to calculate and log employee’s daily time and respective pay.

I worked with customers to ensure that they were satisfied with the course and their experience at Robert Trent Jones. My duties were to ensure the cleanliness of the clubhouse and surrounding area, to provide customers with any assistance, and to maintain the equipment and driving range. Our goal was to provide customers with an exceptional playing experience on two Top-10 courses in Alabama.

I worked three summers for H.C. Blake Co., a plumbing/HVAC/electrical company. My first role for the H.C. Blake team was working alongside service technicians as an assistant. I learned valuable hands-on skills working alongside experts in the field. I would work from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. helping to complete service calls for residential and commercial repairs and installations. Working with customers helped to develop my communication skills.During my second summer at H.C. Blake I was given the opportunity to work as a delivery driver. The job consisted of receiving shipments and picking up parts to deliver to the technicians on-sight. Due to the nature of the job, I created routes to the suppliers and various parts of Huntsville to maximize efficiency. The time saved on deliveries allowed the technicians to complete their jobs more quickly, earning the company more money.In my third summer, I worked inventory for the warehouse. I kept parts stocked and organized while assisting the oversight of incoming and outgoing shipments to the warehouse. I learned to be organized and responsible through the experience. Mid-way though the summer, I was tasked with helping the company become more efficient due to my performance as a delivery driver. I worked to create a system for stocking parts and managing inventory levels, a communication protocol for technicians to order parts, and helped with the installation of a satellite office in the warehouse the main supplier of plumbing fixtures and parts. The changes made saved the company 10% in time for deliveries.Working with H.C. Blake was an incredible journey, though which I learned many great skills. H.C. Blake taught me to never stop working hard, to make the company better every day. I developed communication, efficiency, time-management, and organization skills which have helped me to become a better student, employee, and man.
