CurrentReporting directly to Foundation President and working closely with the University President, set a strategic direction for University fundraising through a variety of innovative strategies and techniques, including the School of Law building campaign. Provide daily leadership and supervision for professional and support staff. Responsibilities include Leadership and Major Gifts Fundraising, Annual Giving, Corporate and Foundation, Alumni Relations, Constituent Relations and Advancement Services. Highlights and Accomplishments:• Direct, manage and lead $40 million campaign to construct a new School of Law facility; the largest capital project in University history• Increased giving for the campaign by 69% within the first year, including the largest single donation for a capital project in school history.• Led, generated and personally solicited more than $20 million in leadership gifts.• Successfully produced and submitted $6 million in foundation grants.• Created process to identify new and better donor prospects utilizing volunteer leaders, administration, faculty, and staff leading to a 100% increase in the number of prospective donors capable of gifts exceeding $100,000.• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications, leadership and staff to design, develop and implement all campaign related print, electronic and other media.• Initiated review of policies and procedures to strengthen Advancement operations, including a formal prospect management system. • Modernized Alumni Relations operations leading to a 22% increase in alumni giving and a marked increase in donor participation in events.• Manage campaign, development, and alumni relations budgets. Formalized a new budget process creating a more streamlined and cost efficient model allowing for better direct engagement with more donors.• Serve as staff Chair for the School of Law Board of Governors. Work closely with Board chair and members to provide oversight and refinement of strategic plans.
