Working with a cooperative network of rural communities in the Klamath Basin of Southern Oregon and Northern California, the Klamath Basin Rural Tourism Studio Project aims to connect community revitalization efforts by enhancing and engaging with pre-existing community assets. The project centers around a sustainable approach to natural resource conservation, outdoor recreational activity/business development, cultural heritage exploration, and agritourism development within the rural Klamath and northern Siskiyou County communities.As an RPCV serving in the Resource Assistance for Rural Environments Program (RARE) at the University of Oregon's Institute for Policy Research and Engagement, I completed a year-long AmeriCorps placement with the Klamath Basin Rural Tourism Studio from September 2018 to August 2019. My primary responsibilities included managing product development, grant coordination, and community workshop facilitation for the Cultural Heritage, Agritourism, and Outdoor Recreation Project Teams.At the end of my service year the Klamath Basin Rural Tourism Studio was awarded the 2019 Aliceann Wohlbruck Impact Award from the National Association of Development Organizations for the Rural Tourism Studio Projects Completed in June of that year.

Served as a Peace Corps Volunteer within the Sustainable Agricultural Systems Sector in the rural community of Gonri, Benin. Gonri is small farming village of roughly 700 people located just outside of the local market city of Oussa Pehonko in Northern Benin's Atakora Department.
