As the SGRFO Road Foreman of Operations Safety, I report directly to the System General Road Foreman and oversee policy and procedures for daily operations, division field management, and locomotive engineers. I also ensure compliance with positive train control systems and train handling and analyze various data sources and reports to identify and address issues and incidents.In addition to my current role, I also serve as a Drill Sergeant in the Army National Guard, where I plan and instruct training for recruits and entry-level soldiers. I supervise their development and teach them discipline, physical, and moral fitness. I am proficient in public speaking, risk analysis, and presentations, and I hold a CPR & AED certification and a Class I Locomotive Engineer certification.
