Intern at Western Slope Conservation Center and Department of Interior's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation Enforcement responsible for planning the Mining Reclamation Workshop at the Paonia River Park, a successful post-mining reclamation project in Paonia, Colorado.

Geologist/Project Manager within a multidisciplinary team responsible for planning and executing the full-field development of the Eagle Ford unconventional play.-Planned and executed drilling & completion program for over 30 horizontal wells in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.-Collaborated with drilling, completions, reservoir, facilities, & production engineers, as well as land, regulatory, and legal departments to ensure safe and efficient development of resources. -Primary responsibilities included coordinating surface location staking, preparing cost estimates and AFE documentation, identifying geologic drilling hazards using 3-D seismic reflection data, predicting formation top depths for drilling, and identifying future drilling locations.-Present project design, AFE, and after-action reviews to management and peers.-Designed and implemented two pilot programs to improve understanding of the reservoir. Coordinated extensive data collection suite including whole core, wireline logs, and geochemical data.

Conducted geologic field research including fieldwork & data collection, sample prep, data analysis, literature reviews, & technical writing; presented conclusions as thesis & presentations at major conferences across the country.

Interned in the Permian Basin Conventional Group, focusing on regional mapping and property modeling of the Wolfberry Play in the Midland Basin. Determined resource potential of Wolfberry Play, an emerging conventional and unconventional field, throughout northern Midland Basin, Texas.-Created log-based stratigraphic interpretations and correlations in >500 wells across Midland Basin and constructed regional stratigraphic/structural frameworks of key horizons within the Wolfberry play.-Completed regional property mapping and volumetric assessment which helped make informed recommendations for development of partial interest leases within study area.
