A subsidiary of Fisher Implement Co. Fisher Farm & Lawn was an $80 million agricultural and landscape equipment sales and service provider, with seven Oregon locations. Company was acquired in August 2012.Served as the executive leader of this multigenerational, 150-employee company, managing an executive team and all operational aspects of the business.Was the driving force in rebranding, restructuring and repositioning this $80 million, privately-held company. These efforts directly influenced the company's profitable sale to a major Northwestern U.S. equipment supplier.Key Accomplishments: Refocused the organization on its primary business by redefining Fisher Farm & Lawn's mission, exiting peripheral business relationships, and selling a non-core sector of the company. Redirected the company's core focus, marketing planning and communication efforts toward customer and employee experience. This strategic shift delivered dramatic improvements in company unification and, ultimately, paved the way for business growth. Devised and executed a competency assessment plan that helped ensure that key leaders were poised to support and unify the business, and also supported the staffing and recruitment process. Successfully led the company through an economic decline that significantly impacted core customer sectors through 2009-2011. Achieved a 500K increase in profitability through these years, in spite of a 39% reduction in revenue. Implemented a new budgeting model and financial reporting mechanisms that streamlined financial reporting, cost control, credit management and staff management.
