Designed and procured three communications kits for the Commanding General’s (CG) communications team while abroad to use non-secure WiFi or cellular internet and created a secret network in which the CG could operate both voice and data.Provided guidance and input regarding CG communications as Army Futures Command (AFC)took part in Microsoft Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS). AFC is one of three Army bases chosen to be a part of this pilot. Helped to integrate Microsoft technologies and legacy video teleconferencing (VTC) system which enabled the commander to use both EITaaS systems and old VTC systems with others who were not part of the pilot.Selected to Army 365 Champions Team, a group of IT professionals across the Army to be the first to migrate to the Army Microsoft 365. Purpose was to find bugs and operability issues which could be addressed before the entire Army migrated.

Built his communications team; hired six NCO’s, trained, and relinquished team after they were fully trained and certified.Developed policies and procedures for Command and AFC personnel during COVID-19. Created methods allowing the command to operate secure and non-secure from home locations when the office was closed. Also responsible for hosting the CG’s town halls virtually which enabled him to address the entire command while each was displaced during COVID.

Implemented the HQDA Windows 10 migration for Office of the Vice Chief of Staff, Army, resulting in zero disruption to 32 computers and eight printers.Developed the Florida communications plan for the VCSA, saving over $25K in TDY travel by using existing platforms.

Provided Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) to modular forces at any echelon; protected rapidly deployable signal systems, and networks in support of Army, Joint and Combined operations worldwide.Coordinated short notice execution of the battalion’s Secret Service Detail which greatly improved White House readiness.Effectively led a high-tempo operations shop; completed 65 tasking orders, 300 DTS vouchers, and over 90 Unit Prevention Leader (UPL) screenings; and recognized inefficiencies in battalion data processes and personally began automating the battalion SharePoint portal. Responsible for battalion network operations, troubleshooting and maintaining the network status of 74 signal systems.

Led 51 soldiers sub-divided into seven fully self-sufficient teams; administered operations, led training and preparation for deployment, re-deployment, and helping to refit and reset for the next deployment. Continuously evaluated strengths and weaknesses of each individual based on their military occupation and would rebuild each team as soldiers left the unit and new ones came in.Chosen above 12 other platoon sergeants to go to the Joint Readiness Training Center based on technical knowledge and leadership abilities to serve as an Observer Controller (OC) for 30 days to follow another platoon sergeant during training environment and provide critical feedback on his operations. Identified deficiencies in organizational key control policies; consolidated feedback from leaders and developed new policies for the whole battalion that improved readiness.

Provided oversight of critical communications security (COMSEC) for White House Military Office (WHMO) operational control (OPCON) and tactical control (TACON) authorities. Ensured the reliability of the President’s Emergency Briefing Room (EBR) by putting policies in place to properly test all systems.
