The forecasts, simulations, and model construction are reported to senior leadership via presentations and/or a financial report. I further support my department through analyzing and text mining financial data for useful insight. Also, I provide the company with financial reports on allocations, progress and insights. These reports are created via Tableau, Plotly, Microsoft office and Adobe Acrobat. My other responsibilities involve survey reporting and providing hands on training in financial reporting, tableau and Excel.

I was allowed to create, distribute, and proctor quizzes for intermediate algebra.I proctored quizzes and exams for single variable calculus courses. Also, I graded algebra and single variable calculus quizzes and exams. I also created lesson plans, problem sets (via LaTeX) and collaborative exercises for TA sessions. I have substituted for professors of mathematics multiple times, including creating lesson plans and practice problems.

Title of Experience: 2014 West Africa Ebola Outbreak Research. I was responsible for modeling publicly accessible West Africa Ebola data by logistic curve fitting in R. Also, I had to use the data from the logistic model to determine infection rates, reproduction rates, incubation rates, and time until outbreak extinction.

Title of Program: First Year Academic Success (FYAS) Program. I provided mentorship to first year college students to ensure their success as they accumulate to the university setting. I worked with students to discover and create the best learning strategy for each individual. A log was kept to track progress of each student I helped. I also provided mathematical advice about course work and the importance of math in their degree field.

Title of Program: Supplemental Instruction. I facilitated collaborative learning sessions for pre-calculus students at DePaul University. By facilitating these sessions, I was able to teach students effective study habits and techniques to be successful in their pre-calculus course. I worked closely with DePaul pre-calculus professors to keep up with the course material and identify difficult topics to reinforce.

Title of Program: Leadership Alliance. We explored minimum energy pathways of small helical polypeptides using string methods. We employed the string methods by using Python as a "wrapper" program to run code in other molecular dynamics programs such as NAMD and CHARMM. With the information from the molecular dynamics programs we were able to see the polypeptide change from one conformation structure to another via a minimum energy pathway through VMD (Visual Molecular Dynamics).

Title of Program: Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP). This project was an meta-analysis on Parkinson's Disease. We used publicly accessible articles on Parkinson's Disease for this meta-analysis. For the analysis, we utilized unsupervised statistical learning, regression analysis, and non-parametric statistics to isolate genes of interest.

Title of Program: Chicago Initiative for Research and Recruitment in Undergraduate Science (CIRRUS). My main responsibility was to mathematically model an aquatic community to help discover correlations for the data that my fellow researchers and I gathered. Specifically, I had to use known ecological-mathematical models such as the Shannon-Wiener Index, Similarity Index, and Diversity Index to quantify the aquatic community we were investigating. We used non parameteric statistics to determine difference amongst samples we collected. I was also responsible for collecting macro-invertebrates, bacteria samples, and doing bacteria identification.

As a student worker at DePaul's Loop Student Center, I was responsible for providing information to students, setting up rooms for clients who reserved the area, providing AV support, and training new student workers. I was nominated for Employee of the Year by my employer and I have gained managerial experience from this job.
