Lead initiatives to prevent substance misuse by collaborating with community partners to assess needs, form coalitions, and implement evidence-based strategies. My work is rooted in principles of Racial Equity, Trauma-Informed Care, Positive Youth Development, Intersectionality, Cultural Humility, Restorative Justice, and Collective Impact, ensuring that all efforts are inclusive and culturally responsive. I follow the Strategic Prevention Framework, coordinating assessment, capacity building, planning, implementation, and evaluation efforts in partnership with the Technical Assistance provider. I also guide the community on evidence-informed environmental strategies for prevention, while actively fostering and sustaining leadership from people of color. Through building and maintaining strong partnerships with schools, town departments, and community organizations, I ensure that our prevention efforts are collaborative, equitable, and effective in creating lasting change.

Applied culturally responsive Behavior Analysis techniques to support clients’ behavior, ensuring interventions are tailored to individual and cultural needs. Collaborated with families and care teams to implement treatment and behavior reduction strategies, while fostering inclusive and equitable approaches.
