Lead initiatives to prevent substance misuse by collaborating with community partners to assess needs, form coalitions, and implement evidence-based strategies. My work is rooted in principles of Racial Equity, Trauma-Informed Care, Positive Youth Development, Intersectionality, Cultural Humility, Restorative Justice, and Collective Impact, ensuring that all efforts are inclusive and culturally responsive. I follow the Strategic Prevention Framework, coordinating assessment, capacity building, planning, implementation, and evaluation efforts in partnership with the Technical Assistance provider. I also guide the community on evidence-informed environmental strategies for prevention, while actively fostering and sustaining leadership from people of color. Through building and maintaining strong partnerships with schools, town departments, and community organizations, I ensure that our prevention efforts are collaborative, equitable, and effective in creating lasting change.

Applied culturally responsive Behavior Analysis techniques to support clients’ behavior, ensuring interventions are tailored to individual and cultural needs. Collaborated with families and care teams to implement treatment and behavior reduction strategies, while fostering inclusive and equitable approaches. Maintained accurate records, documented progress, and coordinated with diverse treatment teams to develop and facilitate skill-building and behavior assessments, ensuring care plans reflect DEI principles.

Assisted clients by providing personalized support, ensuring culturally relevant care that fosters inclusion and empowerment. Developed Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, prioritizing equitable access to resources and opportunities. Monitored client progress through data collection systems, tracking outcomes to ensure they received individualized, inclusive care that addressed their unique needs. Prepared and maintained comprehensive records, documenting client progress and services, and reporting any changes in conditions to ensure ongoing, culturally responsive care. Actively participated in case reviews, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate client needs, plan for continued services, and promote successful integration into the community while advancing social equity
