In this role I am responsible for training staff, keeping up with trends in Makerspaces, and providing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) related programming and events for customers on a regular basis. I have a BFA from University of Georgia in Interior Design, and I have taken several additional courses at Georgia State University in Mathematics. I currently have over thirteen years combined experience in library services at a variety of library environments, including public and academic libraries as well as archival experience. I am well versed in customer service, and have over 6 years of training and instructional design experience. I also have over 8 years of combined educational and work experience in art and design fields. When I’m not working for the library, some other interests include personal fitness, computer programming, learning Spanish, building and creating things, working on my Zettlekasten, and learning about the world.
