As Corporate Controller, led a multi-national accounting function through the acquisition of Runbook, Inc. in August 2016 followed by a successful Initial Public Offering (IPO) of BlackLine's common stock in October 2016. Partnered with FP&A on critical cash flow management and forecasting initiatives, the Internal Audit department on enhancing internal controls and accounting processes, as well as Sales & Marketing on demonstrating the practical application of the BlackLine solution to the financial leadership of potential customers.

As lead audit senior manager, led multi-disciplinary and multinational engagement teams servicing large public and private corporations with a global footprint in over 90 countries. Worked with clients undergoing leadership and strategic transformations, information technology migrations, acquisitions, restructurings, as well as the adoption of new complex accounting standards. Communicated regularly with key client decision makers, including the Audit Committee and C-Suite. Served clients in five different offices during total PwC tenure which included Philadelphia, Little Rock, Dallas, Austin, and Los Angeles. Core service team often exceeded 200 individuals with regular communication and travel to over ten countries annually.- Assessed the operational, accounting, and internal control impact of the establishment of global data-centers and resulting consolidations of the financial reporting function.- Worked closely with tax professionals and consultants to understand the accounting implications of tax restructurings and emerging strategies.- Evaluated the impact of new accounting standards on client business models, notably revenue recognition.- Performed two pre-IPO readiness projects for multi-national private corporations, assessing strength of internal controls, and working closely with financial institutions and lawyers as the projects evolved.- Evaluated the reasonableness of assumptions used in the valuation of acquisitions ranging in price from $20 million to $800 million. Worked closely with valuation experts on stress testing the models as well as determining if alternative valuation approaches were warranted.

Served as the lead engagement manager on an initial public offering of the largest vacation rentals website in the United States. The resulting IPO was the largest in the history of the business community of Austin with almost $2 billion of capital raised.

Served as a manager on an engagement team responsible for carving out and eventually splitting off the wireline division of a large telecommunications corporation that offered wireline, internet, advertising, and wireless services. The transaction resulted in a newly formed public company with over $3 billion in revenue and the eventual sale of the wireless division to one of the world's largest wireless carriers for over $25 billion.

Functioned as the project manager and lead audit senior associate on, at the time, the largest intrastate (Pennsylvania) acquisition of an ILEC (wireline) phone company.
