About Patrick Byrne

As a Senior Global Program Manager with Microsoft Partner Incentives Support, I ensure that end-to-end partner support experiences are optimised to make it easier to do business with Microsoft. I drive zero cost enhancements within our support process and outsourced teams (~150 agents), and I foster community vibrance as a priority.My ten-year Microsoft journey with Incentives has been one of growth. I was part of the initial global team in 2014 managing $3B in payouts and have been part of its expansion to $10B today. I have managed incentives across all channels including OEM, Campaigns, Commercial, Online, Advertising and Retail. I started my current “Transformation & Capability Lead” role in 2021 where I have driven numerous measurable impacts and strategic results for Microsoft.I am logically minded and love problem solving, stemming from my pre-Microsoft career in IT Project Management. I am a lifelong sailor and have raced competitively in Ireland and abroad. Racing, (and especially when offshore and at night), has taught me the importance of teamwork, planning and trust, and especially being calm whilst in crisis!
