Environmental Service Technician
CurrentWorking in the environmental and OHS field with extensive experience in delivering positive outcomes for stakeholders across a wide range of industries. - Conducting and preparing environmental site inspections, dangerous goods audits and spill response analysis for clients.- Specialising in spill control and dangerous good storage measures and legislation.- Strong knowledge of OHS and compliance legislation in areas such as first aid and safety showers.- Delivering environmental and spill response training across a wide range of industries.- Responsibility for scheduling site visits and maintaining strong levels of communication with over 200 clients across VIC/SA/TAS.- Strong understanding of Australian Standards such as AS 1940-2017, AS 4775-2007, AS 1692-2006, AS 4326-2008, AS 3833-2007, AS 2332-2004 and the Australian DG Code.- Experience in contaminated land assessment as well as the planning and implementation of contaminated land remediation projects.- Hands on experience in the design and construction of spill control infrastructure such as DG stores and spill walls/bunding.- Experience in writing and completion of sales proposals.- Responsibility for managing stock and orders out of the Melbourne warehouse.Achievements:- The review and development of various auditing reports such as a Dangerous Goods Survey, Dangerous Goods Cabinet Audit, Environmental Site Inspection and Safety Shower and Eyewash Unit Annual Audit.- Strong year on year growth in service and add-on sale productivity numbers.- Developing strong relationships and trust with service clients which has allowed for long term partnerships and growth between businesses.
