I have started a secondment in the Renewals and Enhancement side of asset management for OLE to gain a different perspective. I have also taken the role of a data analyst within this team to further develop my skills in data interpretation and presentation.

As a data analyst within the Development Team of the Intelligent Infrastructure programme I analysed disparities from different data sources relating to OLE structures and developed a strategy to improve the locational accuracy of OLE structures. I led the development of a dashboard displaying key E&P data for stakeholders.

As part of the E&P work stream in the Intelligent Infrastructure programme I worked to provide better data tools to analyse the condition of E&P assets.

• Analysed technical data interpreting the results using newly developed software and providing constructive feedback. To interpret results I used knowledge gained during my degree to identify irregularities and consulted with a supervisor when I had doubts, which has developed my knowledge further and ensured my work was to the highest possible standard.• Changed how data output was presented based on requirements such as in graphical or numerical form.• Introduced the new software to members of staff demonstrating how it can be used. I am now considered the most experienced user of this software.• Currently designing and manufacturing a precision item of equipment to suit a user's specific requirements. Through the stages of the project this involved strong and effective communication in order to ensure the final product would be fit for purpose, prior to generating initial designs. From this drafting stage a final design was selected and created in AutoCAD Inventor for final approval; this involved using technical software to provide an accurate visual representation of the product. The next stage will be the manufacturing of the final product.
