-Oversee the day-to-day operations of a popular library branch.-Train and instruct employees in meeting the needs of Library patrons.-Staff the public service desk approximately 30-35 hours per week, providing both Reference and Circulation services to Library patrons.-Serve on the Library's Administrative Team and attend both Reference and Circulation staff meetings.-Prepare, maintain, and present various monthly reports regarding Library services and activities.-Function as Home Delivery coordinator, providing materials to homebound patrons via a network of dedicated volunteers.-Organize collection management efforts at the branch.-Host The First Fifty Pages, the Library’s podcast dedicated to books, library culture, and reading trends.-Manage Check It Out, the Library’s weekly public radio program, which offers two-minute book reviews that spotlight the Library’s diverse collections.

-Lead monthly book club discussions for the Library’s Open Book Club-Organize the Library’s Adult Summer Reading Program each year-Provide technology consultations for patrons-Post regularly on the Library’s social media accounts-Partake in professional development through webinars, listservs, and online courses-Coordinate the annual tri-state community-wide reading initiative, One Book One Siouxland-Work on Bridges Selector Team through the State Library of Iowa to purchase adult fiction for the consortium
