My journey in sales started around thirty years back when I ran a small advertising agency in the UK. Via an acquisition, I ended up in a tech leadership role in a large global company and was able to marry two of my favourite functions, Technology and Marketing. Logimeter was born in South Africa when we saw a clear yet unserved need in the auto industry: Car dealerships were unable to track where their inbound sales calls came from and were wasting money on underperforming marketing campaigns. Logimeter started by providing unique telephone numbers which were inserted on each of the different marketing sources. We automatically tracked the lead sources, recorded the telephone conversations and published the data on web dashboards. We soon realised the potential to transform how car dealerships manage their telephonic sales and customer experience. Call recordings weren't just records of conversations, but goldmines of insight for refining sales processes. That realisation shifted our focus from just tracking where calls originated, to helping to optimise the sales journey. We also noticed that dealerships were receiving inbound digital leads, yet the response times were hugely variable, resulting in lower than necessary lead conversions. We decided to build a solution that manages this challenge, which has now become a dealer standard in South Africa. We've since partnered with a diverse range of clients, from big-name car manufacturers to local dealers, helping them fine-tune their sales processes and improve their lead conversions. And by doing so, improving their customer experience. For me, Logimeter is about helping car dealership management, and their sales teams, improve their livelihoods. We're dedicated to monitoring how the dealerships and their consumers interact with one another, thereby crafting solutions that help them to optimise their sales performance and their customer experience. My goal? I'm envisioning a future where technology and AI are the seamless backbone of every sales and customer service interaction in the industry. If you're interested in discussing automotive sales, technology in business, or just want to share ideas, feel free to connect. I value open conversations and new perspectives.

Founder & CeoLogimeter Sep 2009 - PresentCape Town Area, South AfricaWhen I started Logimeter over 14 years ago, it was primarily a call-tracking business. We gave marketers the tools to figure out where their calls were coming from, helping them maximise the value of what they spend on ads. It was a straightforward solution but effective in improving their marketing strategies. But things don't stand still, especially in tech. Logimeter has grown a lot since those early days. We've broadened our solutions, focusing now on a range of sales enablement and marketing tools specifically designed for the automotive industry. These solutions are all about helping car dealerships get better at converting leads and boosting their sales numbers. Here's what we've achieved with Logimeter:- We work with over 800 car dealerships across South Africa.- We're partnered with 6 big car manufacturers like Kia, Hyundai, and Ford.- Our revenues have been growing steadily, with an average increase of 32% each year.- And our clients stick with us – we've got a Net Revenue Retention (NRR) of 98.5%.Our client base includes big OEMs, franchise dealerships, and independent dealers. We're also working alongside software platforms that cater to the automotive industry. The goal has always been the same: to make sure car dealerships have the solutions they need to sell more effectively.https://www.linkedin.com/company/logimeter/ -

Founder & CeoHcm Solutions Dec 2003 - Mar 2007In my role as Head of Digital, I identified a need for a comprehensive corporate recruitment solution. This led to the creation of Recruitbank, an Applicant Tracking System that integrates with corporate websites, acting as a career centre.
